The mystery of making genuine Damascus steel was solved by a Russian engineer from Zlatoust, Pavel Anosov, in the 19th century. Almost two hundred years later, Zlatoust craftsmen started using this incredibly beautiful patterned material not only for cold weapons but for timepieces too.
All the watches are made by hand and are unique, since the distinctive snake-like pattern of Damascus does not repeat – every timepiece has its own.
